A lot of students struggle when making the connection between WHAT is taught in traditional classrooms and why it matters in real life. When Students actually see WHY, and especially HOW, the things they use and enjoy everyday are created using Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), Logic, English Language Arts (ELA), Creative Arts, they more easily understand the importance of those courses. Applying STEM, Art, & ELA concepts, we offer hands-on learning labs in Digital Technologies and Creative Arts to teach students HOW to actually create the things they enjoy, so they enjoy learning the concepts!

The Fusion of Learning & Fun

Current classroom curriculum teaches the WHAT. We show students the WHY and HOW with hands-on labs.

Current school curriculum is designed to teach students as much information as they can digest, in the shortest time as possible. Our teachers have a limited amount of time and resources to reinforce what is learned in the classroom. Since learning is reinforced with Repetition, our hands-on learning labs show students WHY these classes matter, and HOW they are applied in the real world. Once they make this connection, they tend to see learning in an entirely different way – with Excitement!

Students will understand how Science, Technology, ELA, & Math (STEM), as well as Logic and Art, are applied to create video games, web sites, mobile apps, video productions, wearable and displayable art, photography & more! In our Creative & Technology Learning Labs, we teach the real-world applications to enhance what is taught in traditional school classrooms. This helps make learning fun! We are never too young (or old) to learn.

Skills introduced & reinforced in our Learning Labs:

  • Brainstorming, collaboration and documentation (Team Work, Logic and ELA)
  • Market research (Math & Science)
  • Creating prototypes (Design & Math)
  • Quality testing (Logic & ELA)
  • Photography (Creative and Math)
  • Graphic design (Math, Science, & Technology)
  • Wearable art (English, Math, Science, and Art)
  • Creating web & mobile applications (Technology, Creative, Logic, & Math)
  • Vibe Coding to assist with tedious programming steps (ELA, Technology)
  • Data analytics (Math, Science & Statistics)
  • Promoting and selling your products (Math, Logic, Business and Technology)
  • When students understand that what they are learning in traditional schools is used for creating the things they enjoy, they will enjoy learning!

Intro to Video Game Programming with Python

Logic, Science, Technology and Creative skills are the backbone of building Python programs. Students will be introduced to coding, user interface (UI) design, writing creative story boards, how the grid (xy axis) is utilized for character movement, how ratios and percentages are applied to game environments, and basic math applied to create repetitive actions. STEM skills introduced in traditional classrooms are reinforced when students create games and apps they enjoy everyday.

Vibe Coding & Development

AI Vibe Coding

Students learn how Vibe Coding (VC) can assist with traditional coding and development. Developers no longer need to work for many months, or years, coding for web and mobile apps. We will explore this new way to program, utilizing AI technology to streamline the process. However, with VC, effective writing skills are essential. Mobile & Web Development

Creating web & mobile applications, students apply Creative, Logic, & Math skills, to understand WHY these skills are important. Real-World, hands-on reinforcement of the concepts they learn, encourages excitement about traditional learning!

Effective Creative Elements

All of the elements of your product are important, but the visual elements tell your story.
